The company started out manufacturing workwear, and has since grown into a large enterprise with revenue running into millions of Danish kroner.

Deerhunter is part of the family-owned textile company F. Engel, which was established in 1927, and which engages in the design, production and sale of workwear, fashionwear and hunting apparel all over Europe.

In 2017, this international business in Haderslev in southern Jutland, which is today run by the third and fourth generations of the Engel family, celebrated its 90th anniversary
